Captain America and Spider-Man

Enter Spider-Man. Webhead make his debut on EMH. He and Captain America get an opportunity to redeem themselves as true heroes in the eyes of the public. J. Jonah Jameson (Voiced by J.K. Simmons! Yay!) wants a scoop about Captain America possibly being an enemy to the entire planet (Those stupid Skrulls) and assigns Betty Brant and Peter Parker to interview Cap. Tony Stark pleads that Cap won’t be available at first, but JJJ threatens to run a negative report on Cap the next day so Stark obliges. Thor & Bill: Swingers
Beta Ray Bill's journey is no scuttlebutt.

Here come the hammers!

The Avengers are probably still stunned at last week’s developments. This week, Thor and the Asgardians helm this story. This episode, “The Ballad of Beta Ray Bill,” adapts the origins of the strange alien worthy of wielding Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir. Thor and the alien, Beta Ray Bill, join forces to stop Surtur’s attacking Earth and Asgard. But first, Bill needs a powerful weapon against Surtur so the Asgardians come to Eitri the Dwarf King for help. Both parties hammer out an agreement: Bill gets the uru-made Stormbreaker and Thor must come to Eitri’s aid when the Dwarf calls for the Thunder God’s help. Avengers Get-together
Who Do You Trust? Anyone giving me deja vu after watching the movie.

Nick Fury brings the Skrull invasion front and center this week. He and his rogue team alert Tony Stark that one of the Avengers is a Skrull. Their intel leads to Hawkeye being the suspect. Tony returns to the Avengers disillusioned that anyone he has worked with may be a Skrull. Conflict arises after Tony accuses Hawkeye. New Avenger Ms. Marvel tries to bring Clint in for a S.W.O.R.D. investigation. The archer refuses and the Avengers have a brief scuffle amongst themselves. Hulk & Iron Man's projection of Korvac

Korvac! Guardians of the Galaxy! Captain America Skrullifically unavailable! Why is Michael Korvac on Earth? Because he’s a dangerous fugitive. We don’t get to see much in Korvac’s motivations other than he’s a Big Space Villain. Ms. Van Dyne needs to get over Hank. Her next act of “compassion” will lead the Avengers to get sucked into a extra-dimensional vortex within 3 minutes from the start of the next episode.

HOWEVER, the Guardians do a have a raccoon and a living tree in their roster for our not-so-jolly green giant to fight. Anything to keep the kids happy, Hulk?

Earth’s Mightiest Heroes! The Avengers; Season One, Volume Two

HUZZAH! Six more GLORIOUS episodes of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, The Avengers!! Volume two is rightfully dubbed “Captain America Reborn!”. In the eigth episode, ‘Some Assembly Required’, you see that the Avengers are lacking as a team. Something just isn’t right with it all. But they still manage to come together. And, with that said, episode nine (Living Legend) lays the groundwork for what will ultimately be a great team dynamic. Captain America returns!! in a somewhat “Ultimate”-style comeback (watch/read The Ultimates), Captain America tries to come to terms with the 21st Century and proves to be a great asset to the team. He also realizes that there are threats that are more familiar to him than most. With that in mind, Cap joins the team. :) Continue reading “Earth’s Mightiest Heroes!
