ABC aired a double dose of Shark Tank to end its fourth season. On the second episode, 11-year-old Ryan of Ryan’s Barkery works from 5 AM to produce nutritious doggie treats. I doubt he will have time to watch Disney’s Phineas & Ferb as many kids might do.
At the end of the Shark Tank season finale, Dr. Doof enters the Shark Tank for his opportunity to further his quest to take over the tri-state area. The complete pitch can be viewed after the next paragraph.
How amused were Mark Cuban, Daymond John, Kevin O’Leary, Barbara Corcoran, and Robert Herjavec at the pitch?
Dr. Doofenshmirtz offered his shrink ray gun to the Sharks at $500 for 1% equity. There was some back-and-forth banter, including Robert Herjavec offering to shrink Barbara Corcoran. Mark Cuban offered to give Dr. Doof the $500K for 95 percent and also a $2 royalty for every dollar Dr. Doof makes. Any Shark Tank viewer knows that royalties and giving a Shark a majority stake are a bad deal for the entrepreneur.
Dr. Doof’s tempted, but as he was showing Kevin “Mr. Wonderful” O’Leary how the shrink ray shrinks evil and darkness away, the device blows up thus ending the pitch. Yes, Kevin O’Leary’s pointing out the evil of a business plan.
Dr. Doof gets one of the worst offers in Shark Tank history and all he has to show for it is a lousy T-shirt (that he’s going to sell).
