2000 AD parent company Rebellion has set up a new children’s book imprint, Ravenstone. When Ravenstone’s first book is from son of country music legends Johnny and June Carter Cash, I definitely take notice.

Lupus Rex by John Carter Cash is coming June 2013 and is promoted as being in “the tradition of Watership Down, The Rats of Nimh, the Redwall series and Duncton Wood.” I hope it fulfills its promise when I get to cover the book when the time comes.
