Learning the New TMNT Theme Song [VIDEO]

The new Ninja Turtles cartoon will appear soon on Nickelodeon. While the song uses the familiar instrumental melody, the song’s mainly (sigh) a corny rap.

Yeah, yeah, the 1987 lyrics may not much better, but you didn’t come here to interrupt MY nostalgia.

These rehashed lyrics are made just for the sake of being new. There’s some pandering to millennials who are fond of the original cartoon. At least there won’t any awkward substituting of “Hero” for “Ninja” this time.
