Now’s such a great time to observe tech advances at the 2012 Games. Examples: double-amputee Oscar Pistorius competing on the track, allowing Americans to watch GOOD Olympic coverage*, give a fair start to slowpokes to have a puncher’s chance at catching favorites like Usain Bolt, or cloned horses competing in future Olympics.
Thanks to the hard work of Tim Berners-Lee (take note, NBC!) there are great websites that give shout-outs to Olympian Redheads!
While not really a tech advance, but it’s cool that Elsa Garcia Rodriguez Blancas used music from The Legend of Zelda in her gymnastics routine even if she finished 35th.
