Image Comics’ Great Pacific sets sail on November 7. Creators Joe Harris and Martin Morazzo will guide readers through the big Pacific Ocean using young oil empire heir Chas Worthington standing on the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. It appears that Harris and Morazzo will use turn the heap of rubbish into a foundation for fantastic adventure.

The Patch itself becomes a character throughout the story, along with the strange new inhabitants that come to live both atop it, and under its surface! I love just letting myself go while drawing the trash continent. It’s a lot of work, but in some ways it is relaxing too!

- Martin Morazzo

Skullkickers #18 will collect short stories from talents like Chew’s John Layman and Rob Guillory, Justin Jordan and Tradd Moore of The Strange Talent of Luther Strode, Blair Butler, Charles Soule, and J. Torres. The featured story will be by Aubrey Sitterson and Ivan Anya, winners of the Tavern Tales contest.

Skullkickers #18 comes out 26 September and hopefully these storytellers won’t disappoint.
