The Avengers Are Coming to Netflix Streaming!

According to streamingsoon.com, the blockbuster of international intrigue, a scenery chewing villain, and hotties in spy catsuits based on the 1960s British spy series comes to Netflix Instant Streaming starting in August! I’m sure the “based on…” part excited you, so here’s a pic of Diana Rigg and her companion:

Diana Rigg & Friend, 1973

Let RHM help you decide whether the movie’s worth watching. Here’s a key quote:

[The Avengers starring Ralph Fiennes, Uma Thurman, & Sean Connery is] a cinematic abomination that got pulled apart and put back together so many times that it lost all semblance of coherence.

- James Berardinelli

Lady GaGa is “La Chameleon!”

Even director Robert Rodriguez wants a piece of Lady G himself casting her as something sultry in his new movie, Machete Kills, the sequel to Machete starring Danny Trejo.

If this movie features androgynous singers aboard a Mississippi riverboat, I’ll put this movie in the “will watch” list.

Hat tip to Starburst Magazine sourced from original Tweet from Robert.

Our very own Roshawn Rochester has lifted the veil on his own project: Anatomy of War. He has crafted a story about survival of cancer and survival of interplanetary conflict. Assisting the rousing writings of Roshawn is an illustrator from Italia, Luisa Russo!

Also, Joe Martino has his own superhero comic based on his experiences with cancer. Three cheers for The Mighty Titan! This intrepid webmaster interviewed the illustrating impressario some time ago. Titan has contributions from Jerry Ordway, John Byrne, and Luca Cicchitti.

To the right: a small tribute to the grand sport. When you’re done ogling, I’ll let you know that this week on RHM there will be an interview, a spotlight on redheads, and maybe a comic book review or two! Very fun, right? Right!
